I’ll start with what would be a business’ mission statement. PeteyTomTom exists for me to make beautiful things for other people to include in their lives and homes. Your house, your family’s house, and your friend’s houses will feel more like home if there is furniture, bowls, and cutting boards made from wood with care. I’ll help you add the piece that your homes wants with the quality of work that I only expect repeat business if we are adding to your collection.
I have been making and designing things out of wood since I was a teen when I would build my own skateboarding ramps. By 2016 I had opened up my Etsy store. It started with turnings, and while I still do lots of bowls and other household items, I’ve really gotten into more and more furniture. My favorite projects, the ones I want to do more of, are when I work closely with someone to build a piece custom and specific for their life and home.
